Support Partners
All our Partners are critical to the sustainability and long-term success of the computer labs.
Our Support Partners are awesome. We updated our MOU recently to require Support Partners to contribute 50% of the computer lab cost as our experience over the last few years proved this to be the best model. We also required our Support Partner to hire a technician/teacher to visit each school and computer lab we had partnered together, a minimum of three times a year to: -
- health-check the computer lab
- upload any new software and content
- train the teachers on any updated content and software
- collect monitoring reports on computer usage
Content Partners
Computers without software and content are like cars without an engine. We've sourced some great content ourselves and have built an e-library of over 2,500 books.
We're grateful to our Content Partners who have created excellent material to match the Nepali curriculum and bring our computer labs to life!
Technology Partners
It's not possible to build a quality computer lab without quality equipment. The core Servers and computer monitors are all Dell equipment supplied by Neoteric. ComTech has also helped with the supply and support of our thin client devices. We're looking forward to working with Looma to provide additional devices to help with teaching in other classrooms. We're also very grateful for our Technology Partners.
